Terms and Conditions for all programs offered by MoveMor Coaching

By choosing to purchase and participate in a program of Exercise and/or Culinary

coaching, you acknowledge and accept the inherent safety and health risks, as well as the limitations of my scope of practice associated with these activities. It is important to understand these risks and limitations before participating.

Inherent risks associated with a fitness and exercise program:

Virtual fitness training, although effective, cannot provide hands-on protection to address slips, falls, and balance-related injuries. It is the responsibility of the client to be mindful of their surroundings, equipment, and personal abilities. Clients must consult with their physician and medical care professionals before participating in any program offered by MoveMor. These programs challenge your balance, strength, and mobility. In a virtual setting, no level of stability or balance assistance can be offered, and you accept the inherent risks associated. Please review additional information in the Fitness training liability waiver.

Scope of practice for Culinary coaching:

Culinary coaching is provided to support dietary choices by addressing bio-psycho-social obstacles that the client/coach identifies. Culinary coaching supports diet and nutrition plans. I work with the client as a coach, not a medical provider. Only a medical provider such as a registered dietitian, nurse practitioner, physician, or other appropriately licensed medical professionals can prescribe nutrition. The program I provide is designed to support your compliance with your culinary choices but does not prescribe nutrition or provide diet plans. It is the client's responsibility to consult with a dietitian or physician when choosing any diet plan and to discuss with your medical providers the risks and value of participating in a culinary health coaching program. It is within my scope of practice to provide you with nationally recognized peer-reviewed data to provide you with data and information to support your goals and journey. Please review the Health, Culinary coaching medical disclaimer for more details.

Programs, Terms/Segments, Sessions:

Programs:
I offer 5 Programs as outlined on my website www.Movemorcoaching.com

Each Program is divided into 4 monthly Terms or Segments.

Each Term/Segment offers a specific number of coaching sessions to be scheduled and used within the term of the program. Please discuss with me your scheduling availability before purchasing a program.

Terms/Segments:
The Program is billed monthly. All monthly Terms/Segments must be paid in advance before scheduling coaching sessions.

The Term/Segment start and end range from the agreed starting day of the month and continue through but not including that same day the following month.

Sessions:

Each Program's term/segment offers a specific number of sessions. Sessions are booked based on availability and do not roll over to the following month, except as outlined in this document for reasons of illness, emergency, etc. (see session cancellation section to follow). Sessions typically last 45 minutes but can be less or more depending on the progress and the goals of the session. It is recommended to participate in all coaching sessions but not mandatory to achieve your goals. Some weeks you may want more coaching and other weeks less. It's fine either way; it's your goals and journey. We can address specifics within the coaching sessions.

Unused sessions:

Success with programs of this nature requires personal discipline and commitment, and for that reason, the completion of most all sessions within a segment is crucial towards success.

Sessions included within the program segment must be used within that month and cannot be rolled or banked. It is the responsibility of the client to schedule all package sessions within the monthly term. (Although I make every attempt to meet your scheduling needs, time slots book out and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Holiday schedules may offer scheduling challenges and exceptions. They are to be addressed as soon as possible to try to accommodate.)

Rescheduling, deferment, suspension, and cancellation:

Sessions may be cancelled and rescheduled. As coach or client, it may be necessary to cancel and reschedule a session. A 24-hour notice must be accompanied with rescheduling. Cancellation must be done by phone call or text. Sometimes health and family emergencies can occur suddenly in less than 24 hours and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis but must be initiated with a phone or text message prior to the start of the session, or the session is forfeited and is non-refundable.

In the case of health or family emergencies that require the client to suspend participation in the program, a deferment (at the discretion of the coach) may need to be arranged to reschedule to a mutually agreed-upon date.

Refund policy:

Your success and satisfaction are my #1 goals. However, if you are not happy with the program that you have purchased, the following refund policy will be applied:

- Notice in writing via e-mail or text is required to initiate the refund policy.
- Upon receiving the request for refund notification, no further sessions will be provided.
- Refund before the first scheduled session is 100% refundable less a $50 processing fee.
- Refund within the first month term of a program is applied to 50% of the unused sessions.
- After the first month term is complete, any auto draft or payment towards the following month's term is 100% refundable up until the start of the first session of the new term.
- Once the new term begins, the purchase is non-refundable but can be postponed for up to 30 days to defer the re-start of the program or gifted with a valid certificate of transfer. Valid with a start day within 30 days.

Program compliance is critical to your success. As coach, I reserve the right to cancel the program at any time for any reason including but not limited to: Insufficient client compliance with the program, client conduct, my health, or change in the direction of my business plan, or retirement. In the event I choose to discontinue services and cancel the program, you will be notified, and a full refund of the unused sessions will be refunded within 30 days.

Client rights and responsibilities regarding privacy and medical care:

All client/coach information is considered confidential and will not be shared without written authorization by the client.

The client is responsible to notify the coach of all medical conditions that may prevent or limit the ability to fully or partially participate in a program. It is not within the scope of practice for me to interpret medical conditions, so a recommendation from an appropriate medical professional may become required to continue a program. The client agrees to provide such notification in a timely manner to continue with the term/segment as scheduled.
